hi <3 thank you all for signing up to my mailing list π§π½ββοΈ
I hope you are having a wonderful start to your day; it is refreshing to communicate with you all outside the bounds of social media ! I won't contact you very often but I have some things to share today:

Some highlights below, L to R: I Love To Feel Ensemble live at Three Wheel Drive festival, my first Berlin afromerm live solo show at Studio.dB (Significant Others presents), Rachel Jones: Gated Canyons - A Sonic Response live at Dulwich Picture Gallery alongside felix taylor and Rohan Ayinde (curated by Touching Bass).

You are the first to hear that I will be releasing new afromerm music to all platforms on October 15th π§π½ββοΈ but first, the track will premiere on Bandcamp this Friday as part of Bandcamp Friday, when Bandcamp waive their share of revenue to the artists (the best time to buy music!)

Last month, I launched a new listening walk for people from Black and racialised communities, in response to the underrepresentation of those groups in both sound art and woodland settings. Our first walk was last Sunday and we walk again on Sunday 19th October (location tba). If you're interested or want to learn more, you can follow Sunday Soundwalk on Instagram.

I will be performing live and participating in a panel to celebrate five years of Girls Twiddling Knobs, an incredible platform founded by Isobel Anderson, championing gender-diverse voices in music technology.
